Adults with autism and other disabilities often have to overcome many obstacles in life, especially when it comes to finding a job and learning how to live independently. When you're on your own, these challenges can seem insurmountable -- but with a supportive team like The ACRES Project on your side, anything is possible!
It's in that spirit that we are excited to announce The ACRES Project Amazing Race, a challenge-packed competition and fundraiser to be held at Radio Park Elementary School and Discovery Space on Sunday, November 6th. Registered teams of two and four will tackle a gauntlet of fun trials together as they compete to win amazing prizes, all while supporting our mission to help local adults with autism overcome challenges and achieve their employment goals.
Until October 14, we are seeking local sponsors for the ACRES Amazing Race. Your $250 sponsorship is fully tax-deductible and allows your organization to sponsor one of our 20 challenges.
Your business name/logo will be prominently displayed at "your" challenge station, which will be themed to your services whenever possible (for example, a construction company may wish to sponsor a building-themed challenge). Sponsors can choose to support one of our existing challenges or suggest their own ideas!
Other perks include:
- Your logo on the t-shirts given to participants and volunteers
- Your organization highlighted on the ACRES Amazing Race website and ACRES Project social media
- Knowing that your sponsorship dollars stay here in our community to help our neighbors achieve their goals!
Financial sponsors are not expected to provide any manpower or
supplies during the event, but are welcome to do so if they wish.
